Le club Randoxygène fait la fête… encore et toujours
Comme chaque année un jour particulier est dédié à la fête du club. Nous sommes tous les ans plus nombreux, et cette année les organisateurs et organisatrices ont dû trouver une salle plus spacieuse pour accueillir la foule en délire. Plus de 170 personnes, du jamais vu !
L'organisation est au top, nous arrivons à l'heure et de bonne humeur. L'accueil est chaleureux, l'apéro nous est offert avec les toasts « fifinou » devenus célèbres, et ayant obtenus 5 étoiles au guide roisséen 2024. Merci Fifi.
Tout ce beau monde se retrouve avec joie et les papotages sont de rigueur. Les tables sont dressées et nous avons même notre nom joliment noté devant notre place. La soirée paella s'annonce bien. Le DJ est en place. La valse des assiettes bat son plein, et la paella est digne d'un grand chef espagnol. Ollé !
La musique des années 70 et 80 enchaîne les tubes de notre jeunesse. L’émotion est à son comble, et nous oublions nos vieilles douleurs lors de danses endiablées.
Un beau moment de partage et d'amitié, nous avons même chanté joyeux anniversaire à deux bipèdes qui sont nés le même jour, la même année, et presque à la même heure.
Qui l’eut cru !
Un grand merci aux personnes qui ont organisé cette soirée avec autant de soin.
À l'année prochaine, c'est sûr nous reviendrons.

Meet at the Paul Bessuard stadium at 7 a.m., then head to the Charles le Chauve gymnasium (in the company of Sylvie), to register our "ticket", Michèle will also join us.
8 am fictitious departure, the security accompanies us to the greenway, then the big cats are released. After having skirted the Morbras, we stride along the paths of the Bois de Ferrières, cross Pontcarré, and at point 1 (km 8), we see the gate of Belle Assise, where a small supply station is waiting for us served by volunteers. We must not weigh ourselves down too much, because the road is still long. After exchanging a few words with other participants, we set off again in the direction of Favières, “La Route” through paths that are sometimes muddy, sometimes passable, but whatever the sun is with us, and our morale is high.
Point 2 (km 14.5) pointing… (yes, we are on file)… Small snack, and we set off again to Neufmoutiers, km 27 repointing, because you have to show “ patte blanche », before reaching the refreshment point held by our charming volunteers from the Randoxygen club. A few more words exchanged here and there, and it's already time to leave, no time to take a nap.
Point 4 (Favières (km 36), a last stop and last snack, and we set off again, direction Roissy; the last kilometers seem much longer than the previous ones, the feet a little sore in contact with the macadam, but the mind is still there .
We continue our journey towards Pontcarré, the woods of Ferrières and of course Roissy. Phew, more than a kilometer and deliverance. Our welcoming committee is waiting for us at the entrance to the gymnasium, it warms our hearts.
A final score, return of our badge, and receipt of our famous sesame "the final diploma" it is deserved...
Thanks to Sylvie for accompanying me on this adventure. A big thank you to all the Randoxygen volunteers and the others, who warmly welcomed us at the various aid stations and crossroads, thank you to the buoys (it was impossible to get lost), and above all a big congratulations to Michèle for her very good performance. .

10 km Forestier, September 12, 2021
Roissy-en-Brie
This year, USRA Athletics has opened a new discipline in the traditional 10 km Forestier certified foot race: NORDIC WALKING.
Randoxygen was represented by 9 walkers out of a total of 24 participants.
A well marked course and a strong motivation of our members, allowed us to make a good classification. Agnès, our host, finished second female, and our friend Serge Perrault, first veteran. They therefore climbed the podium to receive their awards.
A beautiful morning back to school for our participants, which ended with a little comfort.
To be renewed next year.
